The Association of Public Health Physicians of Nigeria (APHPN) was represented at the Inaugural Technical Consultative Meeting on the European Union Support for Public Health Initiative in Nigeria (EU SPIN) by Dr. Esther Agmadalo M. Cegbeyi (Gen Sec FCT-Abuja Branch).
The meeting, organized by the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare in collaboration with the World Health Organization and supported by the European Union, convened a broad range of stakeholders from across the health sector.
The consultative forum provided an important platform for dialogue and collaboration on strengthening Nigeria’s public health institutions, improving the delivery of Essential Public Health Functions, and advancing a more resilient, data-driven, and people-centred health system capable of responding effectively to current and emerging health challenges.
