APHPN Kwara Report of World Malaria Day 2022

The APHPN Kwara State Branch as part of the activities to mark the World Malaria Day collaborated with the Kwara State Malaria Elimination programme to mark the World Malaria Day.

The activities conducted to mark the day include: 

Sensitization at ANC clinics on the use of Insecticide Treated Nets with distribution of Long Lasting Insecticide Treated Nets to pregnant women and children attending Immunization clinics. 

Sensitization on the use of insecticide treated nets and the need to have appropriate diagnosis before the use of ACTs in the treatment of Malaria. 

The association also went to selected radio stations to sensitize the populace on strategies to prevent malaria and the roles of the general public in the Malaria Elimination efforts.
