APHPN Kogi State chapter ably led by the chairperson Dr. Mary Ojone Alexander-Onoja attended the Lassa fever Stakeholders meeting today, convened to strategize on curbing the outbreak in the state. The session was chaired by the Honourable Commissioner for Health, ably represented by the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Steven Momoh Aziz.
The State Epidemiologist, Dr. Ojotule Augustine, delivered a comprehensive presentation, setting the tone for the discussion. Best practices were acknowledged, and key areas requiring improvement were identified, with recommendations proffered. A clarion call was issued to all stakeholders, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts to address the outbreak.
