A Onayade who turns 70.and is retiring from the services of the Obafemi Awolowo University today.

– You practically stood out as the leading light of primary, secondary and tertiary preventions during the 2014 Ebola outbreak and 2020 COVID 19 outbreak.
– Where others feared you dared, thrived and fared well
– You came, you saw and you conquered.
– You are a professor of many professors, belonging to the first generation of Public Health teachers at OAU, ILE-IFE.
– Those of us who passed through you as resident doctors know that you are more than a teacher, you were and still a dear father to us.
– Thanks for being a loving, caring and dependable father, mentor and guide to us at APHPN, Osun
– We appreciate your numerous sacrifices over the years.
– Today, we celebrate an icon, a colossus and a giant of disease prevention and control..
